We believe the impact we claim should be measurable, conservative, and transparent. Here's how the numbers above are calculated — so you can hold us to them.

    Live sensor data. Every Soildrops controller logs runtime by zone. We compare it to standard-schedule water use for the same lawn size and climate to compute gallons saved.

    Dollar savings. We apply the US average residential water + sewer rate of about $0.012/gallon (EPA, 2024). Real savings vary widely by district — many West Coast and Southwest customers pay 2–3× this.
  • 3
    1% pledge. Soildrops donates 1% of profits to water.org to extend access to safe water worldwide. Every install adds to the pool — every gallon saved here helps fund water access somewhere it's truly needed.
